I do agree however that in most situations where there is no real medical issues, vbac risks are way too low to be overly worried about. I do however absolutely support anyone who wants a vbac and would stand up for and fight for those who have to fight for it themselves. I didn't feel offended or anything by your story at all, it was just simply telling us your birth story and how you preferred it to a section and encouraging mothers to not be afraid of vbac, which is a good message really. Must say though your story did sound a bit scary to me, with the stitches and all lol. Cos my repeat section had absolutely no pain at all and was walking fine the next day so for me I was glad to go through no pain with my section rather than what you described with the vbac lol. At the end of the day I felt you were respectful to all women, including myself- a proud c section mummy. That in itself makes me respect you and support what you are trying to do- help mothers properly understand that vbac is for most women really not as dangerous as made out to be.Melanienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7162036995405295950.post-23359278567480072012010-12-11T19:19:48.846-08:002010-12-11T19:19:48.846-08:00What a lovely birth! Lots of women just want to have a c-section again, and I think you are respectful of that.Mary Corbetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03445090750228501486noreply@blogger.com
